TALENT SHOWDOWN PROMO RELEASED

With the wait nearly over, why not get a flavour of what is to come up tomorrow night by listening to the promo for the Talent Showdown episode.

I decided it would be better to have one promo for the show rather than releasing two on alternative dates. This resulted in the delay of the promos being released and I do apologise for any inconvenience this has caused.

The Show Us What You Got Talent Showdown with Patrick Wallace and Ben Moore will be available for listening in your own time from Monday 1st of September 2008 at 1900 BST.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: TALENT SHOWDOWN EPISODE LAUNCH DELAYED

Hello everyone. I am writing this entry to inform you that the launch of the Talent Showdown edition of Show Us What You Got will be delayed until Monday the 1st of September 2008.

The reasons for this involves conflict of schedules for recording a section of the show with one of the guests. The guest – who will remain nameless – was unavailable over the past six to seven weeks due to family holidays, other commitments, and urgent family matters. In addition, it would not have been a good idea to rush him into recording this week – both for the programme and for himself.

However, the good news is that the other guest’s section has already been recorded and is currently in the editing process. By the end of this week, a promo of that guest will be released to give you a flavour of why it’s the worth the wait. The unrecorded guest is scheduled to record his section at the beginning of next week. Which means that his promo will be released during the second half of next week.

I apologise for any inconvenience this has caused and I hope you can still join us for the Talent Showdown on the 1st of September.

In the meantime – if you haven’t already – why not listen to the first episode of Show Us What You Got with Advent Magic. Links to the episode will appear at the bottom of this blog post.

A reminder of Advent Magic’s appearance at the Relay For Life.

Hello everyone.

Just a quick reminder about Advent Magic’s second gig mentioned in their appearance of Show Us What You Got – their appearance at the Relay For Life.

Advent Magic will appear at the Relay For Life, on Saturday 23rd of August from around 1700, at Dalgety Bay Sports Centre. It’s free, just turn up and sample some of their musical magic; and why not donate to the Relay For Life cause as well while you are there.
