The Show Us What You Got Listener Survey is ready to be taken

December 21, 2008

***IMPORTANT NOTICE – 30/12/2008***Due to the restrictions set on the account for hosting this survey, such as not being able to view the results after ten days, the URL link for this survey will change from 0130 GMT this morning. The questions will be the same but the URL will be different.

The results from all responses up until now have been saved onto my computer for future viewing. If you have already completed this survey there’s NO need to complete it again.

However, if you only completed some of the questions, you will need to take the survey again and complete it by the set deadline.

If you are yet to participate in the survey, I recommend you do so after the URL change.

I apologise for this inconvience.

*** END OF IMPORTANT NOTICE ***

Yes that’s right, the moment you have all been waiting for, the Show Us What You Got listener survey is ready to be taken.

There are 28 questions – all of them are brief and cover the Advent Magic and Talent Showdown pilots; the blog and the survey itself. This should only take a few minutes to complete.

If you haven’t listened to the shows for quite a while, then I recommend you to listen to them again before taking part in this survey. You can listen to these pilots by heading over to the “Past Shows” section, which is located at the top of this page.

The survey closes on Saturday 10th of January 2009.

When the survey closes, I will review all responses and decide on a plan of action – which I will share with you in mid-January.

Where the hell have you been? And what’s the story on that interview?

December 16, 2008

It’s been a while since my previous entry and you may think I have abandoned the show, the blog and yourself. Well I can say that I have not done any of this.

There are two reasons for this unintentional hiatus: things have happened in my private life, including having to overcome depression in October and November. This meant I had to stop work to recover, and to prevent the quality of the show from suffering. In addition, the amount of homework and assessments have been increasing recently, emphasising that I was unable to fully commit to the show.

However, I am close to a complete recovery and ready to resume production. I would also like to say that the planned interview with Talent Showdown contestants, Patrick Wallace and Ben Moore, is to be cancelled because of reasons I have just mentioned and – on reflection – there was little purpose to the interview because you can predict how the contestants reacted to the result.

Despite having no interview, we thank Patrick and Ben for participating in the Talent Showdown, and wish them all the best for the future.

So what’s next? Well from Saturday you can participate the Show Us What You Got listener survey. Further details will be released then.
