The special interview planned for release this week with Talent Showdown winner Patrick Wallace and runner-up Ben Moore has been delayed. This is due to one of the guests being unavailable to participate because of a conflicting schedule.
Therefore, the interview will be released around the first week after the October holidays [week beginning 24th of October]. Precise details will be released during that week. I apologise for any inconvenience this has caused.

By becoming the winner of the Show Us What You Got Talent Showdown he wins: ten pounds in cash, a winner’s certificate and the title of “The Show Us What You Got Talent Showdown Winner”.
Commiserations to Ben Moore who became runner-up with 24 votes and his attempt of Miss You In A Heartbeat by Def Leppard. However he does not go away emptied handed – as he gets a runner-up certificate to show our appreciation for his efforts.
Thanks to Patrick and Ben who took part in the first ever Show Us What You Got Talent Showdown; thanks to those who voted over the last three weeks; and most importantly – thanks to you for listening.
A special interview with Patrick and Ben will be available for listening from next week, more details about this interview will be released closer to the time of release.
That also marks the end of the trial period for Show Us What You Got. A process of listener consultation will begin soon; this is where you can have your say on what you think of the two episodes released; and whether or not you want to hear more of Show Us What You Got in the future. Hello everyone. I am writing this entry to inform you that the launch of the Talent Showdown edition of Show Us What You Got will be delayed until Monday the 1st of September 2008.
The reasons for this involves conflict of schedules for recording a section of the show with one of the guests. The guest – who will remain nameless – was unavailable over the past six to seven weeks due to family holidays, other commitments, and urgent family matters. In addition, it would not have been a good idea to rush him into recording this week – both for the programme and for himself.
However, the good news is that the other guest’s section has already been recorded and is currently in the editing process. By the end of this week, a promo of that guest will be released to give you a flavour of why it’s the worth the wait. The unrecorded guest is scheduled to record his section at the beginning of next week. Which means that his promo will be released during the second half of next week.
I apologise for any inconvenience this has caused and I hope you can still join us for the Talent Showdown on the 1st of September.
